You may wish to review how well a particular opportunity fits with your aims skills and personality.
All of our programmes start with the process of building up your personal profile.
We do this using a number of questionnaires that look at your interests/passions, values, current abilities/skills and what you need to get out of work together with what tasks and environments you wish to avoid.
We also look at which of these skills and attributes are transferable to other career routes.
This information together with your work history and personal circumstances allows us to build up an objective picture of where you are today.
This Career-Fit personal profile requires an investment of time and effort from you but it is the best way we have found to help you to really get to know yourself. It also allows us to look into the future and look at how you can develop to take on new opportunities that suit your future circumstances and market conditions.
We will work with you to develop the Future-You and look at various scenario’s that your initial steps could lead towards and what opportunities future development can open up for you.
This is an important step as it allows you to justify the efforts and sacrifices that you are making to achieve your ambitious goals and keeps you motivated and enjoying the career journey.
We will also provide you with ideas on how well your profile fits with particular occupation routes and jobs.
We will provide you with links to training and development courses to further develop your skills to suit your desired opportunities.
If you decide to become a premiere TBQue member you will then have access to a career coach who will work with you to help you realise your potential and achieve your career goals.
In addition to the Career-Fit personal profile we will also look at your current level of well-being and identify actions to improve it. These will center around your working life but will also influence your general life well-being.
We will drill-down into the rational for your career choice and work with you to develop a detailed career journey plan. This plan will be regularly reviewed so that you will be able to objectively assess your progress.
One of the scenario’s we will work with you on is looking at your existing role and see if by using our “Career-Fit Job Crafting” tools and techniques we can improve your current job satisfaction and motivation.
You may still wish to look at other opportunities but this exercise is an excellent way of identifying the relative positive and those negative factors that you will either wish to have or avoid in any new role.
We will work with you to refine your CV, help you identify opportunities and prepare you for interviews and assessments.
When you start your new role we will support you to make a positive initial impressions and impact.
Having already been introduced to Career-Fit Job Crafting we will work with you to customise/personalise your new role so that it makes better use of your strengths and identifies areas that you need to develop or get help in.
You may decide at this stage to move from monthly sessions to an annual “Career Health Check” but it is important that you continue with the development exercises and have a regular review. We will always be available either to answer specific questions or to have one-off coaching sessions as issues arise or your circumstances change.
